The Model 9004 is a four gas (CO, HC, CO2, O2) hand-held gas analyzer that uses proprietary NDIR technology to measure CO, HC, and CO2, and an electro-chemical sensor to measure O2 to BAR-90 or BAR-97 (OIML Class 1) specifications. It has the ability to calculate Air/Fuel Ratio and Lambda (the European equivalent to A/F ratio) and, new for 2003, Combustion Efficiency from exhaust gases - making for easy diagnosis of fuel control balance and running efficiency.

In addition, an alternative fuel (LPG or CNG) can be selected as the active HC, making the analyzer perfect for alternatively-fueled equipment.  Data is displayed at a 4 times per second rate on large LED displays, and the analyzer operates either off its own battery for 2 hours, the vehicle 12V supply, or a wall supply.

The Model 9004 include exhaust probe and hose, cigarette lighter power plug and cable, vehicle battery clips, spare filter pack, carrying/storage case and manual.  It also includes on-board battery and external (mains-mounted) 12VDC supply.  On-board battery charger is built-in the analyzer – so the battery on the analyzer is charged by the unit itself.

The Model 9003 is a very simple infrared CO/HC gas analyzer that works like a timing light - powered off the motorcycle 12V system. It is used for performance tuning based on CO concentration, and misfire detection using the HC channel.

It is the basic analyzer for those who have specific interest only in CO and HC levels in exhaust –the exhaust gases traditionally used for motorcycle and recreation vehicle performance tuning. Alternative fuels selection (LPG or CNG) displays HC for the fuel used.

Analyzers come complete with all operating accessories, including compact probe, sample line, spare filters, power cables, manual, and carrying case.

The Docking Stations convert the hand-held units above into a portable analyzer – complete with a carrying handle, on-board batteries for a full 8 hrs of operation (charged by the standard analyzer power pack) and even a place for the serial printer to fit in a cradle on top of the unit under the handle.

This unique product can be configured all the way from the Mark I, a simple free-standing portable unit to the Mark II, a full bench-top equivalent unit complete with a heavy duty water trap/filter and water extraction pump mounted on the rear panel of the unit.  These units provides 100% duty performance and are designed to be run all day from the wall supply.

All of the Bridge analyzers are printer capable, meaning that the Serial Printer accessory, a standalone battery powered printer, can be used to produce a hardcopy record of vehicle emissions during test.

A single push of the PRINT button on the analyzer front panel produces a permanent printed record of the current gas readings.

The printer product is complete and ready to go - with carrying case, printer with battery installed, battery charger, manual, and 6 ft of analyzer/printer cable.

This software makes use of enhanced PC display, data storage and user-interactive capabilities. The real-time display options are a large numeric display, analog meter displays, or graphic display capability.

In addition the PC can automatically store data at user-specified intervals to a text file on the PC hard drive, for later importing into Excel or the equivalent for thorough data analysis and charting.

Lastly, the PC can be used to generate and print a full-page test report using the system printer. This full-page report can have custom header information (modifiable by the user) containing the business and customer information of the user's choice - and a copy of the report is saved to the hard drive and can be copied or recalled for future reference.

This software is available on a CD (standard) or floppy disk format.

This pack of filters provides all the filters normally needed for 1 year – 6pcs of the 50 mm dia probe filter, 3 pcs of the water trap filter, and 3 pcs of the 25 mm dia analyzer filter.  The recommendation is to change the probe filter as required or every 2 months, and change the other filters with every other probe filter change.

1/8 inch diameter Stainless Steel ‘Needle Probes’ are available to replace the flexible tip on the standard exhaust probe, allowing tuners to reach past muffler baffles, or into restricted spaces.  These probes are somewhat flexible, allowing the user to snake them into confined spaces – and they are cross-drilled at the tip, providing isolation from contaminants.

These needle probes are installed by means of a half-turn quick disconnect fitting on the probe ‘S-Bend’ allowing easy replacement of the standard flexible tip.  They are available in 12 and 24 inch lengths.
