MAP
Headspace Gas Analyzer Calibration Stand

P/N 001246 Calibration Stand for MAP Headspace Gas Analyzers –
with Flow Adjuster, Tee Assembly and Needle Adapter Tubing
The P/N 001246 Calibration Stand
provides the unique setup for customer calibration and gas testing of Bridge
MAP gas analyzers. The Calibration Stand provides all the unique items
required to interface the MAP gas analyzer to the test gas regulator of
customer calibration gas. All the user needs to provide is an appropriate
length of 1/8th inch diameter metal of plastic tubing between the
regulator output valve and the calibration stand input
The calibration stand comes
complete with a flowmeter/adjuster, a tee assembly to ensure the delivered gas
is at atmospheric pressure, and a tubing interface to provide a gas-tight seal
to the sample needle of the Bridge MAP Headspace Gas Analyzer.
The calibration stand may be used
to adjust and ensure that test gas delivered to the analyzer is at slightly
greater than the intrinsic flow rate of the analyzer, while still maintaining
atmospheric pressure at the sample needle. The flow rate is monitored by a
flowmeter built into the calibration stand, and adjusted by a built in needle
valve at the base of the flow meter.
The calibration stand is simply
connected to the calibration tank regulator output set to about 20 PSI
pressure, the test gas cylinder valve is opened, and the calibration stand flow
is adjusted by the needle valve on the flowmeter to provide test gas to the
analyzer. The use of this unique calibration stand ensures that calibration
gas is delivered to the analyzer under the same conditions as a real package –
ensuring that customer calibration provides the best correlation possible to
real package testing.
